Each year, DONNA Marathon Weekend brings together runners, survivors, families and supporters from across the country with a shared mission: to finish breast cancer. As the only marathon weekend in the United States dedicated exclusively to this cause, the event serves as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when purpose and perseverance come together.
This year, despite below freezing temperatures, DONNA Marathon Weekend achieved its third-highest turnout in race history, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the DONNA community and its supporters.
Corporate Traffic Logistics was proud to be part of this impactful weekend, standing alongside thousands of participants who showed up to make a difference. On Saturday, the weekend began with the DONNA 5K, which welcomed more than 2,200 participants to the course. Runners embraced the cold and the camaraderie that defines the DONNA experience, setting the tone for the days ahead.
On Sunday, runners took on the ultimate endurance challenges. The half marathon had over 3,800 participants, while 861 runners completed the full marathon. In addition, seven athletes undertook the extraordinary feat of the 110-mile DONNA Ultra Marathon, exemplifying exceptional endurance and dedication. The weekend also featured one adaptive athlete who completed the full marathon — a powerful representation of resilience and inclusion that embodies the spirit of DONNA. Sunday also included the Pete’s Bar DONNA Crawl, offering an opportunity for people to go from Sea Walk Pavilion to Pete’s Bar for a 2-mile fun run.
Through every mile and every finish line, the mission remained at the forefront. DONNA Marathon Weekend is more than a race; it is a collective effort to support breast cancer patients, survivors and research initiatives that bring hope to countless individuals and families.
We are incredibly proud of the Corporate Traffic team members who participated throughout the weekend. Their determination, teamwork and commitment reflect our company’s values and our belief in supporting causes that truly matter.
