For the second year in a row, Corporate Traffic is proud to participate in the beloved Deck the Chairs holiday tradition at Sea Walk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. This one-of-a-kind community event invites local schools, companies and organizations to decorate their own lifeguard chair, transforming the shoreline and bringing holiday magic to life.
This year, our team took creativity to the next level by turning our lifeguard chair into Santa’s sleigh – reimagined as a Corporate Traffic truck. Even better, kids were able to hop in, sit behind the wheel and “drive” Santa’s sleigh, making it an interactive experience and a great photo op!
Established in 2013, Deck the Chairs began as a free, multi-week event featuring decorated lifeguard chairs and has grown into a signature Beaches tradition. The event attracts thousands of visitors each holiday season while benefiting students through collaborative visual and performing arts opportunities. More than 2,100 students participate annually through decorating, stage performances and volunteer activities.
The impact extends far beyond the chairs themselves. With over 120 community partnerships and more than 500 volunteers working year-round, DTC continues to expand safe, accessible arts experiences and meaningful community engagement. Through public and private collaboration, Deck the Chairs creates unique events that bring people together in shared spaces while showcasing emerging talent.
At Corporate Traffic, being part of Deck the Chairs is about more than decorating—it’s about giving back, supporting creativity and celebrating the community we’re proud to serve. We’re honored to be part of this special tradition and can’t wait to deck the chairs again next year!
