Corporate Traffic Logistics recently partnered with Wolfson Children’s Hospital and their Child Life program with a donation of $5,000 towards program materials providing valuable support for children undergoing treatment at the new Borowy Family Children’s Critical Care Tower in downtown Jacksonville.
Child Life specialists are essential members of a child’s health care team. By easing stress and anxiety, they help kids gain a sense of control in the hospital environment. Items included music therapy equipment, art supplies, as well as toys and games utilized by Child Life Specialists during hospitalization to provide comfort and distraction, as well as normalize the hospital environment.
The funds for the donation were collected by CT employees and matched by the company during their monthly CT Community Connections fundraiser. Other recipients of CT Community Connections fundraisers in 2022 include Dreams Come True, Jacksonville Humane Society, Feeding Northeast Florida and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
