This January, our Jacksonville office kicked off the year with a fitness challenge that was simple, meaningful and rooted in what we value most: people and purpose. Laps for Lungs encouraged our team to step outside, get moving and give back – one lap at a time.
Participants were challenged to walk laps around our office building, with one lap equaling 0.3 miles. Across the Jacksonville office, 29 team members joined in, logging an impressive 880 laps, which added up to 264 total miles walked throughout the month.
For every lap completed, CT donated $1 to the American Lung Association, turning everyday movement into a collective impact. This challenge wasn’t just about the donation – it was about encouraging our team to prioritize movement during the workday, step away from their desks and get in steps they might not otherwise take.
Whether it was a quick lap between meetings or a few extra loops during lunch, Laps for Lungs reminded us that small actions add up. Together, we proved that when we move with purpose, we can support our health, our teammates and causes that matter!
