This summer, Corporate Traffic had the privilege of supporting McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond, a summer camp that brings outdoor adventure and fun to kids across Jacksonville. Operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, the camp gives children a chance to experience a summer full of new experiences, memories and growth.
Camp Deep Pond is more than just a summer getaway — it’s a safe, welcoming place where kids can enjoy activities like archery, swimming, fishing, slingshot, kayaking and more. The environment helps children build confidence, try new things and create memories that last a lifetime.
To help support this amazing program, Corporate Traffic hosted two in-office fundraising events, and our team’s competitive spirit made them a huge success!
Our first event was a pool tournament, where everyone went head-to-head to sink their stripes or solids and win bragging rights among the office. Next, we turned the office into a 9-hole putt-putt course, known as the “CT Open.” With putting greens stretching through the halls and across departments, over 30 employees participated in the tournament, aiming for the lowest score.
Together, these events raised more than $2,500, which helped fund 50 new life jackets, a fish feeder and brand-new fishing rods for campers to enjoy this summer.
We’re proud to support McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond and are incredibly thankful for our employees and leadership team who always show up when it comes to giving back. It’s efforts like these that prove how fun and impactful community involvement can be.
About McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond
Established in 2018, McKenzie’s Camp Deep Pond welcomes more than 6,000 children annually to experience the joys of summer camp. Activities include swimming, kayaking, biking, fishing and archery — all designed to encourage growth, play and connection. They have also established partnerships with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network and the Friends of Florida Forestry Department.
