November 6, 2025 Corporate Traffic Volunteers with Hunger Fight During 13th Annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Event

Corporate Traffic was honored to volunteer with Hunger Fight during its 13th Annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Event, supporting a mission that aligns closely with our commitment to service, community and purpose. Held from November 4 through November 15, the initiative offers 20 volunteer time slots dedicated to packing nutritious meals for children and families facing food insecurity.

During our team’s volunteer day, CT employees helped pack more than 50,000 meals, working alongside hundreds of community volunteers to make a meaningful impact locally.

Hunger Fight has reached a remarkable milestone, having now surpassed 31 million meals packaged. To date, the organization has provided 31,499,225 meals and 489,465 books to children and families in need — a testament to the dedication of its volunteers, partners and supporters.

As Hunger Fight Executive Director Sherri Porter shared:

“This milestone shows what’s possible when communities come together for kids.”

One of the most powerful reflections from this experience came from Trevor Rolison, a Logistics Solutions Engineer who works closely with Hunger Fight, who shared:

“It’s an incredible feeling when your day-to-day work comes full circle! At Corporate Traffic Logistics, I have the privilege of working directly with Sherri and Dean Porter and Hunger Fight to coordinate and ship their supplies, packages and meals all over the country — helping ensure families in need receive nutritious meals throughout the year. But this week, I got to experience that impact firsthand. Seeing the process from both sides — the behind-the-scenes logistics and the hands-on packing — was such a rewarding reminder of why we do what we do. I’m so proud to work for a company like Corporate Traffic that not only supports organizations like Hunger Fight through our logistics expertise, but also encourages us to show up and give back in person. A perfect way to kick off the Thanksgiving season with gratitude, teamwork and purpose!”

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside Hunger Fight and look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership in the future!

About Hunger Fight:

Struck by the number of children in North Florida who live with hunger each day, Sherri Porter founded Hunger Fight in 2012. Headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, we’re a 501(C)3 non-profit agency. Our story began with a small team of people producing and distributing shelf-stable, flavorful, nutritious meals to those at risk for hunger in our community.
