This past weekend, Corporate Traffic was proud to participate in the 8th Annual Dreams Come True 5K at the University of North Florida. The energy was contagious from the moment we arrived with runners, walkers, volunteers, families, and dreamers all coming together to support a cause that truly changes lives. This year’s race had over 2,500 registered participants – the largest turnout yet.
The 5K included the Walk, Run or Roll option, along with a one-mile Dash for Dreams. At the finish line, the Dreamfest brought even more smiles with family-friendly fun. The superhero theme was a perfect reminder that heroes come in many forms – whether wearing running shoes, capes, or volunteer shirts
Dreams Come True is the only locally based dream-granting organization in Northeast Florida, and over the last 40 years, they’ve fulfilled more than 5,000 dreams for children battling life-threatening medical conditions. From Disney trips and travel adventures to meeting personal heroes, their impact is nothing short of incredible.
At CT, this is an organization we hold close to our hearts. Each year, we look forward to sponsoring a child’s dream trip over the summer, passing out candy at their annual Trunk or Treat, and hosting holiday parties at our office for families. This weekend, we were honored to join the race once again and support the mission that makes such a difference in our community!
