This past Mother’s Day weekend, Corporate Traffic Logistics proudly partnered with the Jacksonville Humane Society to sponsor the Fur-Ever Family Mother’s Day Adoption Weekend – an event dedicated to helping shelter pets find loving homes.
From May 9-10, CT covered adoption fees for all cats and dogs at JHS, making it easier for families across Jacksonville to welcome a new companion into their lives. Throughout the weekend, adoption counselors worked closely with guests to help match them with pets that fit their personalities and lifestyles.
The event was an incredible success, resulting in 64 total adoptions over Mother’s Day weekend. Each adoption represented a new beginning for pets in need and unforgettable moments for the families who welcomed them home.
“We’re grateful to Corporate Traffic Logistics for partnering with us to make Mother’s Day weekend even more meaningful,” said Lawrence Nicolas, CEO of the Jacksonville Humane Society. “Welcoming a pet into the family is a special way to celebrate moms and maternal figures, and we’re excited to help create joyful new connections during a weekend centered on love, care, and companionship.”

The Fur-Ever Family Mother’s Day Adoption Weekend reflected the shared values of compassion, community and family between CT and the Jacksonville Humane Society. With dozens of pets now in forever homes, the weekend served as a reminder of the lasting impact local partnerships can make!
