June 8, 2023 Corporate Traffic Logistics Gives Back During Military Appreciation Month

At Corporate Traffic Logistics, we believe in the power of giving back to the communities we serve, especially to our vibrant military community in Northeast Florida. As a company that values the contributions and sacrifices made by our veterans and military families, we were thrilled to engage in initiatives that support and uplift them during Military Appreciation Month. In May, we partnered with the Jacksonville Humane Society and Operation Barnabas to help provide meaningful employment opportunities and raise funds for at-risk veterans. Through these endeavors, we not only made a positive impact but also reinforced our commitment to those who have served our country.

Supporting Military Veterans: Paws and Stripes Academy

Corporate Traffic Logistics proudly joined forces with the Jacksonville Humane Society to sponsor their Paws and Stripes Academy. Since 2022, Corporate Traffic has supported this unique initiative that provides comprehensive job training for military veterans interested in pursuing careers in animal welfare. By supporting this program, we aimed to help veterans successfully transition into civilian life by providing them with skills and opportunities in a field that aligns with their passion for animals.

The Paws and Stripes Academy is free to its members and offers a comprehensive job skills training program through classroom instruction from experienced animal professionals in addition to hands-on training in an animal shelter environment.

Raising Funds for At-Risk Veterans: Operation Barnabas

To further demonstrate our gratitude and support for veterans, Corporate Traffic Logistics organized a fundraising campaign in partnership with Operation Barnabas, a local charity dedicated to mentoring and providing support for at-risk veterans. As part of this campaign, we sold special edition t-shirts and bandanas in our office, with the proceeds going towards this noble cause.

The response from our employees was overwhelming. Through their generosity, we were able to raise $2,500. But our commitment didn’t end there—Corporate Traffic Logistics matched the funds raised by our employees, resulting in a total donation of $5,000 to Operation Barnabas. This contribution will enable the charity to continue their vital work of providing mentorship and support to veterans who need it most.

Embracing Our Veterans and Military Families

At Corporate Traffic Logistics, we take immense pride in employing many veterans and military family members. Their dedication, discipline, and commitment to service have been invaluable assets to our company. Giving back during Military Appreciation Month was not only an honor but also an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to the well-being of those who have served our country.

Our company culture embraces the unique perspectives and experiences that veterans and military family members bring to our team. By actively supporting initiatives like the Paws and Stripes Academy and Operation Barnabas, we aim to create a positive and inclusive work environment that honors the sacrifices made by our military community.

Corporate Traffic Logistics remains committed to giving back and supporting our military community, not just during Military Appreciation Month but throughout the year. We firmly believe that by working together, we can make a lasting impact and express our gratitude to those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.
