This year marked an exciting milestone as we welcomed the largest internship class in Corporate Traffic history, with 17 interns representing seven universities joining our team for the summer.
Throughout the summer, they gained hands-on experience in freight brokerage, working alongside Corporate Traffic managers and developing a deeper understanding of the sales and operations sides of the logistics industry.
Building Skills Beyond the Classroom
Professional development was an important part of this year’s internship program. Every member of the 2026 intern class completed Benchmark Training’s Workshop Series with Ben Hippeli, covering Predictive Index & Negotiations, Cold Calling Foundations, and Objections.
The workshop series gave interns an opportunity to strengthen essential sales and communication skills while learning strategies they could immediately apply to their work at Corporate Traffic. From understanding different communication styles to navigating objections and building confidence on cold calls, the training provided practical experience designed to prepare them for success both at CT and in their future careers.
Making an Impact at Corporate Traffic
Collectively, the 2026 intern class identified more than 40 new dedicated carriers for Corporate Traffic, helping strengthen our carrier network and providing additional capacity to support our customers.
That accomplishment reflects one of the primary goals of our internship program: giving students the opportunity to take ownership of real responsibilities and make a measurable impact during their time with the company.
