September 10, 2024 Celebrating 30 Years of Dedication: Brian Sadler’s Remarkable Journey at Corporate Traffic

Reaching a 30-year milestone at a single company is no small feat, and Brian Sadler recently achieved just that. For three decades, Brian has been an integral part of Corporate Traffic and its sister company, Corporate Transportation. His dedication, adaptability, and exceptional work ethic have made a significant impact, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him as a key member of our team.

Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management, Brian plays a crucial role in overseeing safety, compliance, and overall risk mitigation for the company. However, his career at Corporate Traffic extends far beyond his current responsibilities. Over the years, he has worn many hats and worked in a variety of positions, each one contributing to the company’s growth and success.

A Journey of Many Roles

Brian’s journey with Corporate Traffic began in the early days of the company when he worked as a freight broker. In this role, he was responsible for coordinating shipments, connecting customers with carriers, and ensuring that freight was successfully moved across the country. He fondly recalls those early days when the company was much smaller, and he worked closely with the Cline brothers, the company’s founders, to cover loads with just a few people on the team.

What sets Brian apart is his ability to adapt and thrive in changing environments. He reflects on the different ways logistics operations were managed back then, a time before the widespread use of technology in the industry. “I remember working away from the computer, something unimaginable to a logistics professional today,” Brian said with a laugh. One vivid memory he shared was using a whiteboard to track the status of shipments. A simple clip moved around signified the progress of each load—a far cry from today’s sophisticated digital systems.

Beyond his early days as a freight broker, Brian also took on a leadership role within Corporate Transportation, overseeing the asset division and managing drivers. His wide-ranging experience across the company has led some to joke that there isn’t a job at Corporate Traffic that Brian hasn’t done. This depth of experience has given him a unique understanding of the business, from both an operational and strategic perspective.

From Humble Beginnings to Tremendous Growth

Brian’s connection to the Cline brothers and the origin of Corporate Traffic runs deep. As a cousin to the founders, he recalls their childhood dreams of following in their father’s footsteps and building their own transportation and logistics business. Together, they shared a vision that has since become a reality.

Over the years, Brian has been with the company through thick and thin, witnessing firsthand its evolution from humble beginnings to one of the most respected logistics companies in the region. He remembers a time when boxes of files were spread out across the office floor, long before the digitalization that now powers daily operations. Today, Corporate Traffic handles hundreds of loads a day and has earned accolades such as being named one of Jacksonville’s Top 50 Fastest-Growing Companies and appearing on Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing companies in the country for three consecutive years.

Despite the growth and success, Brian notes that the values and culture of Corporate Traffic have remained grounded. He describes the Cline brothers, as down-to-earth “Oklahoma boys,” and credits them for instilling a strong sense of humility and community within the company. He is proud to be part of a company that not only strives for business success but also values giving back to the community.

Looking Ahead to the Future

As Brian reflects on his 30 years with Corporate Traffic, he remains optimistic and excited about what the future holds for the company. With a strong foundation built on family values, hard work, and dedication, Corporate Traffic is poised for continued growth and success. Brian looks forward to being a part of that journey and is eager to see the company’s future unfold.

In celebrating Brian Sadler’s 30-year work anniversary, we are reminded of the importance of loyalty, adaptability, and a passion for excellence. Brian’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication, and we are incredibly grateful for his contributions over the past three decades. Here’s to many more years of success and continued growth!
