Throughout the Military Appreciation Month in May, Corporate Traffic employees raised over $5,000 to support Operation Barnabas.
The mission of Operation Barnabas is to ignite a positive transformation in the lives of veterans and first responders through faith, action and encouragement. Founded in 2017, they have helped 157 homeless veterans, donated 24 vehicles and served 1,250 veterans with temporary assistance. Depending on each person’s needs, they can help with PTSD, addiction, family and marital issues, reentry after jail, finding a job, and providing transportation or housing, while offering daily, one-on-one mentoring.
We recently sent members of our CT team to the site of their newest project, a small home community in development in Clay County. The neighborhood is named Fort Barnabas and will provide affordable homes for veterans in need. We also presented them with a check to go towards construction costs for the community.
Our partnership with Operation Barnabas is a testament to our unwavering commitment to supporting those who have served our country. Whether it’s through providing financial aid, offering housing support or simply lending a helping hand, we believe in making a tangible difference in the lives of veterans and their families. By contributing to this vital organization, we at Corporate Traffic are proud to stand alongside the brave men and women of the military community in Jacksonville.
